Emergent Technology is building supply chain / blockchain technologies for tracking conflict free assets through supply chains with ethereum technologies and using responsibly soureced gold to create backed digital token. A gold standard for the modern age.
The ideal candidate has a passion for technology and a desire to help people. The position requires one-on-one interaction with end-users, and the ability to clearly communicate complicated information and technology issues. The position's responsibilities require independent analysis, communication, and problem solving. Work is performed with little supervision and requires initiative and judgment.
-Install, upgrade, configure, and troubleshoot computing and communication devices and peripherals.
-Coordinate, provision, track, and manage hardware and software purchases.
-Monitor system alerts, work queues, backups, and recovery activities
-Supporting weekly activity reports on the assessment status provided to appropriate security and IT resources.
-Responsible for installation, implementation, management, and upgrades of Mobile Device Management and host-based DLP and IPS solutions.-Lead the transition of new and upgraded IT Tools and processes from "Proof of Concept" to production.
-Work with Network and Server teams to define and complete application deployments successfully.
-Develop and maintain documentation for supported applications, processes, and training material to internal employees and IT staff.
-Ability to prioritize workload, queue and other assignments; excellent in time management.
-Experience supporting other products such as Anti-Virus, Intrusion Detection Systems, Firewalls, Active Directory, Web Proxies, Vulnerability Assessment tools and other security tools found in large enterprise network environments; along with experience working with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions
-Excellent project management, interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to drive and implement ideas in a changing environment.
-Familiarity with various network and host-based security applications and tools, such as network and host assessment/scanning tools, network and host based intrusion detection systems, and other security software packages
-Ability to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical end users
-Understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, SNMP, SMTP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP protocols and applications.
-Strong knowledge of Active Directory & LDAP account administration
-Understanding of facilities (space, power, cooling, capacity planning, maintenance support)
-Familiarity with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
Ideal Candidate :
-Lead Systems Administration duties growing team from 10-250+
-Deep understanding of Google Apps Administration
-Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present and discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, and provides a clear understanding no matter the audience.
- 10 years of education and or relevant work experience
-At least 5 years' experience supporting Windows and Mac hardware and Operating Systems
