Documentation Engineer

Blockstack is looking for experienced engineers with excellent communication and writing skills to improve our developer and API documentation. This role is crucial for increasing Blockstack accessibility and building user engagement in the Blockstack community. This person will convey complex concepts and UI instructions to a developer audience, and engage with the engineering and product teams to deliver succinct product writing updates at a rapid rate. 


Things you'll work on:

- Create  developer instructions during Blockstack feature upgrades, improvements, and architectural builds 

- Improve organization and copy of existing developer tool instructions internally and externally across the Blockstack website, github, and forum

- Communicate with and support a global developer audience 

- User test copy and make evidence based improvements 

- Create sample apps and code snippets for demonstration  



- You have built an fully functioning, polished app 

- 5+ years professional development experience



- Experience with technical writing and communications, and have written for a global audience 

- Experience with JavaScript/ES6, React, Redux, and Swift

- Experience working for a rapidly scaling start-up 

- Passion for delivering high-quality work, with quick turnaround times
