Global Liquidity Manager

Shift Markets provides enterprise-level technology to clients launching global Crypto Exchanges.  The firm’s turnkey package includes a front-end trading platform, back office, order management system and liquidity.  Shift’s team serves a global clientele from its New York City headquarters with locations in EU and Asia as well.  An exciting opportunity has developed in our New York office for a Global Liquidity Manager.  This is a unique opportunity to develop your career in one of the world’s financial hubs, in the transformative cryptocurrency industry.  Our New York office is in the heart of Manhattan, near all public transportation.  We are expanding rapidly abroad as well.

As our Global Liquidity Manager, you’ll be creating strategic partnerships and onboarding customers to our technology which enables anyone to run their own crypto brokerage or exchange; so be ready to demonstrate your ability to work closely with partners and build lasting relationships.  You’ll eventually represent SHIFT at expos and events so strong communication skills, flexibility, and a professional attitude are essential.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Establish new trading relationships to improve product offering and increase trading volume

• Working with liquidity providers

• Watching price feeds, doing settlements

• Performing integrations

• Deliver best-in-class service to clients on the phone, in chats, and through email

• Communicate with clients to understand their needs

• Work directly with team on pipeline creation, conversion, and ongoing support of clients

• Provide effective education and technical support to a global clientele for various trading platforms and technology

• Explore and develop business ideas and opportunities by engaging with clients, partners, and the company’s extensive network

• Consistently achieving specific deposit, volume and customer retention benchmarks

Additional Responsibilities Include:

• Maintain a solid understanding of the product offering and details of client setups

• Work with management on unique selling points to improve sales, service, and operational processes


• Acute attention to detail with excellent organizational skills

• Ability to examine and understand trade reports and perform trade reconciliation

• Self-motivated, reliable, and driven with the talent to motivate others

• Sharp strategic prospecting skills

• Ability to grasp technical and financial concepts quickly

• Excellent data handling and data analysis skills

• Familiarity with software and systems used in the financial services industry such as FIX Protocol, Post Trade Services, Position Management, CRM, Accounting applications, MT4/MT5, bridges and other technology

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office

• The nature of our industry makes language skills in addition to English an asset

• Knowledge of working in a broker or exchange environment, with experience trading a plus

• Understanding of the B2B side of the FX landscape (IBs, Money Managers, Brokerages, etc.) a plus

• Experience in FX and/or CFD liquidity sales preferred


• Bachelor's degree preferred

• An understanding of cryptocurrency protocols and platforms is strongly preferred
