The Role

ConsenSys is seeking a growth marketer to oversee paid, performance and optimization efforts throughout the organization. That means recognizing our key performance indicators across different initiatives, analyzing performance for growth opportunities, developing and implementing strategies to drive continuous improvement, and managing any performance budget with a keen eye for ROI. The growth marketer will play a role defining the strategies to scale the Consensys brand name, and acquire and retain quality users cost effectively.

Along with other team members, the growth marketer will be responsible for helping to develop and put into practice strategies geared toward acquiring and retaining new users at scale across Consensys’ many initiatives. We will know that ConsenSys Growth is successful if we develop playbooks for scaling successfully, sharing insights widely throughout the organization, and generally cultivating a data-driven culture within each initiative.

An ideal candidate has strong experience in data-driven marketing, including programmatic media buying, conversion rate optimization, marketing automation, content marketing and partnerships. He or she should deeply understand the customer decision journey, attribution modeling, budgeting, UX/UI and campaign development. He or she should have an instinct for designing customer-centric programs that drive awareness, conversion and retention; gathering and analyzing data to gauge performance and glean insights; then driving learnings and strategic iterations back into the customer experience to continuously optimize performance.

Experience with startups, working at a media company, and creating content on technological subjects are a plus. Knowledge about blockchain or Ethereum is not required, but candidates should be interested in the technologies poised to transform the way we live, and be open to learning deeply about blockchain topics.
