Role of CRM and Marketing Automation:
This team will work closely with ConsenSys Solutions, Marketing, regional teams, and ConsenSys spokes (incubated projects being built on Ethereum), to create messaging, positioning, loyalty campaigns, customer segmentation, and marketing/sales pipelines to further our mission of building and scaling a world where distributed applications and the Ethereum world computer enable a new class of frictionless, global commerce with inclusion for all.
- Collaborate with the global team and develop a regional CRM and automation strategy for the ConsenSys brand and for spokes being incubated by ConsenSys in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa).
- Implement the regional plan in tandem with the functional lead in the US while liaising with local teams in France, Dubai, South Africa and elsewhere
- Create Customer Journeys for a B2B, B2G and B2C audiences in EMEA
- Create standardized email templates and ongoing drip campaigns in conjunction with the Solutions and Marketing teams
- Drive leads through the pipeline and qualify them to the Solutions team or spokes in the region
- Work together with the Community team to gather participants’ data, and with the Content team to develop relevant email marketing campaigns
- Ensure the database is segmented effectively for targeted marketing activities
- Assist teams with email marketing and mobile messaging, strategy, and execution
- Work with local teams to adapt campaigns/emails to local audiences, reflecting values, culture and language

- At least 4-5 years of experience in a B2B CRM role
- Experience with CRM and Marketing Automation platforms (Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Eloqua, etc.)
- Experience working in an international environment
- A mindset of constant campaign improvement through testing, testing, testing
- Must have excellent listening, verbal and written skills and be able to communicate effectively to a diverse audience with varying degrees of understanding of ConsenSys, blockchain and Ethereum
- Demonstrated experience gathering and understanding customers’ business needs
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across teams to make things happen

- ConsenSys is a decentralized, holocratic (non-hierarchical) company that is distributed across 28 countries - you need to be extremely self directed and self motivated as there is no one telling you what to do
- Must be comfortable prioritizing and working with teams to identify needs and timing
- Need to be very open and collaborative. You need to be respectful and conscientious of everyone’s opinions and needs while also ensuring that you are being transparent and including relevant stakeholders in your work
- Demonstrated success in taking a service oriented approach and high level of ownership
- Ideally have experience working in a startup environment where you have had to wear many hats at a time (and those hats may change periodically)
- Experience working cross-functionally in a matrix environment and being the connective tissue between many different teams and collaborators
- Ability to travel 10-20% may be required
- Comfortable with a bit of organized chaos
