Messari is a New York based startup backed by some of the industry’s top investors. Our mission is to promote transparency and smarter decision-making within this emerging ecosystem by building a free, global, and open-source data library for cryptoasset projects.
We are seeking a talented blockchain engineer to help build our core data repo. You will build tools that ingest content, connect to real-time feeds, and parse blockchain data, designing flexible systems for input, query, display, and output. You will be involved in all stages of product development, from idea generation to execution, shipping, and iteration.
You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment, and looking for an entrepreneurial role where you can take ownership of your work with little hand-holding.
Skills and Experience:
Ability to write clean and effective code, regardless of framework
Strong architecture skills
Experience working with blockchain data across various platforms and frameworks
Experience deploying and integrating various blockchain clients
Experience in a DevOps environment
Good understanding of mining, staking, and other consensus mechanisms
Ability to balance fast release cycles with a long-term focus
Passionate for the cryptoasset ecosystem and open-source technologies
Experience with continuous integration tools
Background in distributed computing
BA/BS in a relevant field
