About ConsenSys:

ConsenSys is a venture production studio passionate about building and scaling tools and enterprise software products powered by Ethereum.

The role:

PegaSys is seeking a technical recruiter to join our growing People Operations team. The role will be based in Brooklyn, NY. We’re looking for someone who likes to be very hands-on—managing the full recruitment life cycle—ensuring we reach our hiring goals for 2019.

In this exciting global role your core responsibility will be recruiting talent to fulfill roles ranging from blockchain protocol engineers to marketing specialists.

Outside of the day-to-day of recruitment, you will also be involved in key initiatives and projects that support the growth and development of our team.

What you’ll work on:
  • Own all aspects of the recruiting process: defining jobs and specs, sourcing, screening, managing the recruiting process, negotiating and closing offers
  • Develop a pipeline of active and passive candidates across all job roles we hire for
  • Become quickly immersed in the culture and business needs of PegaSys
  • Own special projects as they arise, offering unique opportunities for leadership development and growth, such as data-driven process improvement, assessment of new recruiting services/technologies, creating and implementing development and rotational programs, cross-functional projects and many more
  • Maintain a high level of industry awareness: deeply understanding the startup, tech, and Ethereum/Blockchain landscape to keep tabs on emerging and transitioning businesses, industry news, competitive analysis, etc.

The profile we’re seeking:
  • 8+ years of full cycle recruiting experience and a track record of hiring top technical talent
  • Startup and/or corporate (in-house) experience
  • Global recruitment experience and knowledge a huge plus
  • Demonstrated success implementing innovative ways to attract prospective candidates
  • Experience with using data insights to craft new approaches or improve existing processes
  • Self-confident, self-motivated and highly-organized with a strong sense of personal accountability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, presentation, facilitation and negotiation skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency using various ATS systems (we use Greenhouse) and an array of sourcing tools/approaches
  • Kind, humble, and thoughtful and happy being part of a successful team
  • Ability to focus on the details, but also understand the bigger picture
  • Interest in new technology, Blockchain, and/or Ethereum

Roughly every six months, we convene for an offsite where you get to meet your colleagues in person, foster community and align on strategy. Our last meet-up was in Prague.
