Council Director

About The Role:

Hedera is building a council of 39 Fortune 100 companies from around the world. Our Council Director will report to the President and support his work with the council members. The Director will be responsible for maintaining relationships with many of these companies’ representatives on a day-to-day basis.  To be effective, the Director must have technological knowledge of our protocol, be an excellent communicator, and be sophisticated and personable enough to work well with a diverse constituency.

You are capable of working independently on projects, from conception to completion, as well as working under pressure. You can be counted on to handle confidential matters with discretion.



  • Build strong relationships with council members, understand their concerns and priorities
  • Learn the market sector and dynamics in which each council member operates
  • Communicate company updates and help drive initiatives
  • Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns relating to council members
  • Determine appropriate course of action, referral, or response
  • Keep the President informed of council member activities

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree required
  • Experience and interest in internal and external communications, partnership development
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat, Google Docs, Google Web Mail and various Social Media web platforms
